The methodology of the history of law by social movements confronts the original narratives with the marginal and subversive narratives derived from the heart of the firefighters, as a historical and legal research element. For a historical review we confront the arguments involving all social actors that were related to the SOSBOMBEIROS movement during the 2011 claims, seeking to understand the meaning of right observing points of view that are often forgotten. The inclusion of the fire department as a military institution, the constitutional prohibitions on the right to strike and unionization, the punishments, imposed by the government, the role of the judiciary, the influence of the media, society and the political field are reconstructed and analyzed observing the legal experiences of the firefighters, allowing the knowledge of many tensions over the role of that group of workers in the society and the scope of constitutional rights and guarantees. The way firefighters communicate with society, betting on institutional channels and respecting the procedures and denouncing locks allows a great debate that is not restricted to remuneration issues. In this communicative process, a new perception arises influencing the political field to seek solutions that can mitigate a historical process of injustices.
