Resumo: | Due to the importance of preserving the environment and the impacts generated by the development, both by the extraction of mineral resources and by the production of waste and its final destination, studies are often designed to achieve the best performance of a concrete through the reuse of waste, the reduction of natural resources, the use of sustainable resources, the substitution or the addition of materials that present high performance and lower costs. Added to this question, there is concern in urban centers regarding the increase in soil waterproofing index, due to inadequate pavement and paving of the inhabited areas. One of the alternatives that have been studied for low traffic pavements and pedestrian circulation is the implantation of drainage pavements, since the total or partial volume of rainwater infiltrates the subgrade, thus minimizing the problem of floods and pockets of heat, besides contributing to the replenishment of the water table. As a result of the above, this study has as main objective the elaboration of a permeable concrete with substitution of natural aggregate for asphaltic residue. Five mixtures were studied varying the levels of replacement in 0, 10, 20, 50 and 100%. In order to analyze the influence of this parameter on the mechanical and hydraulic characteristics, axial compression, modulus of elasticity, flexural tensile strength, density, total porosity, capillarity, permeability and clogging were performed. The results indicated that it is possible to obtain satisfactory performance for permeability characteristics of permeable concrete with the use of recycled aggregates of asphalt pavement. However, from the standpoint of mechanical properties, the results indicated a reduction in compressive strength and flexural tensile strength. It is worth noting that even with this reduction, the different mixtures developed obtained minimum values established in standard for use as pavement for pedestrian traffic. |

It is worth noting that even with this reduction, the different mixtures developed obtained minimum values established in standard for use as pavement for pedestrian traffic. Submitted by Boris Flegr (boris@uerj.br) on 2021-01-06T19:03:30Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Susana Viana Bittencourt.pdf: 7301015 bytes, checksum: 4afa92f700f89c148d2a1b5b7503d9c0 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2021-01-06T19:03:30Z (GMT).
