Percepções de estudantes e ex-estudantes da Educação Básica sobre as manifestações do bullying no ambiente escolar e as estratégias para enfrentá-lo

Resumo: | This work intends to seek the debate on the mechanisms used to promote measures of awareness, prevention and confrontation of bullying and other types of violence in schools. For this, we observed how students and former students of Basic Education, from public and private schools, from different times, places and contexts, perceive the manifestations of bullying in the school environment. We used interviews and questionnaires, designed specifically for this study, to analyze the narratives of these students and former students. In view of the federal anti-bullying laws that have been implemented since the 2010s in our country, we observe how Brazilian schools have promoted strategies to deal with the problem. As for the operationalization of public policies to combat systematic bullying in school daily life, the subjects participating in the research pointed out some difficulties, among them the fact that bullying is considered by school members as a joke, mockery or mockery. In the course of the research, we also discussed racism and bullying (violent acts present in the school environment) that are sometimes assumed by bullying. We promote the dialogue between the thoughts produced by the subjects who live the school routine and the thoughts of renowned authors who deal with the subject. Based on the memories narrated by the students and ex-students protagonists of this research, we created our educational product (video/ebook), which, instead of presenting a manual of guidelines to deal with bullying, aims to bring reflections and to raise new questions about the confrontation with this specific type of violence, awakening in the school community the interest in the theme worked. |

Para isso, analisamos como estudantes e ex-estudantes da Educação Básica, de escolas públicas e privadas, de épocas, locais e contextos distintos, percebem as manifestações do bullying no ambiente escolar. Utilizamos entrevistas e questionários, elaborados especificamente para este estudo, para analisar as narrativas desses(as) estudantes e ex-estudantes. Diante das leis federais antibullying que foram implementadas a partir da década de 2010 em nosso país, procuramos saber como as escolas brasileiras têm promovido estratégias para lidar com o problema. Quanto à operacionalização das políticas públicas de enfrentamento à intimidação sistemática no cotidiano escolar, os sujeitos participantes da pesquisa apontaram algumas dificuldades, dentre elas o fato de o bullying ser considerado por membros da escola como brincadeira, zombaria ou gozação. No decorrer da pesquisa, discorremos também sobre o racismo e o assédio moral (atos violentos presentes no ambiente escolar) que, por vezes, são assumidos pelo bullying. Promovemos o diálogo entre os pensamentos produzidos pelos sujeitos que vivem os cotidianos escolares e os pensamentos de renomados(as) autores(as) que tratam do assunto.
