Graffiti in the city of Mossoró: discourse, memory and heterotopia in urban space

Resumo: This work establishes a remissive writing gesture by analyzing enunciative series within an already researched archive about the discourse around Lampião's visit to the city of Mossoró, in 1927. In the dispersion of this discourse of the Mossoroense Resistance to Lampião's attack. Considering the dispersion of an archaeology of the discourse associated to the Resistance led by townspeople in Mossoró against the bandit Lampião, I once again avail myself of Foucauldian discourse analysis to investigate fragments of this narrative, materialities whose enunciative function is exercised by the rules and aesthetics of graffiti art. This analytical motion led to the conclusive understanding of graffiti as a means of political expression which destabilizes memories, meanings, and cultural identity in the urban space of Mossoró/RN.

Na dispersão dessa discursividade da Resistência mossoroense ao ataque de Lampião, retomo pelo viés da análise discursiva foucaultiana dois fragmentos de análise, materialidades cuja função enunciativa é exercida pelas regras sócio-históricas e estéticas do grafitismo.
