Resumo: | This work aims to analyze the implementation of Federal Law No. 12,711/2012, known as the Quota Law and Affirmative Actions, for admission to the Technical Courses of Agriculture and Informatics in the form Integrated to High School, at the Federal Institute of Tocantins/Campus Dianópolis in period 2014 – 2018. Based on the study of this Law, Decree nº 7,824/2012, MEC Normative Ordinance nº 18/2012 and the notices published by the Institute, a general survey was done out on the number of students benefited by the Law in the selection processes for admission to these courses. This quantitative survey was carried out using data from the Integrated Academic Management System (SIGA/IFTO) covering the period from 2014 to 2018. When analyzing the notices and enrollments, it was concluded that, despite the offer of vacancies provided for in Law nº 12.711/ 2012, only in the years 2014 and 2015 were there students approved. In the other years analyzed, the students did not reach the minimum grade to pass the entrance exam. The year 2014 was the year with the highest number of graduating students who entered through the quota system. |

The year 2014 was the year with the highest number of graduating students who entered through the quota system.Neste trabalho, apresenta-se a análise das matrículas e da implementação da Lei Federal n. 12.711/2012, conhecida como Lei de Cotas e Ações Afirmativas, para ingresso nos Cursos Técnicos de Agropecuária e Informática na forma Integrada ao Ensino Médio, no Instituto Federal do Tocantins (IFTO) – Campus Dianópolis, no período de 2014 a 2018. A partir do estudo dessa Lei, do Decreto n. 7.824/2012, da Portaria Normativa do Ministério da Educação (MEC) n. 18/2012 e dos editais publicados pelo Instituto, foi realizado um levantamento do número de estudantes beneficiados pela Lei nos processos seletivos para ingresso nesses cursos, por meio dos dados do Sistema Integrado de Gestão Acadêmica (Siga/IFTO). Ao analisar os editais e as matrículas, concluiu-se que, apesar da oferta de vagas prevista na Lei n. 12.711/2012, apenas nos anos de 2014 e 2015 houve alunos aprovados. Nos demais anos analisados, os estudantes não alcançaram a nota mínima para aprovação no vestibular. Assim, os alunos ingressantes pelo sistema de cotas, em 2014, compuseram a maioria dos que concluíram os cursos.Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la implementación de la Ley Federal N° 12.711/2012, conocida como Ley de Cuotas y Acciones Afirmativas, para el ingreso a los Cursos Técnicos de Agricultura e Informática en la forma Integrada del periodo Medio, en el Instituto Federal de Tocantins/ Campus Dianópolis, del periodo 2014 al 2018. Con base en el estudio de esta Ley, el Decreto nº 7.824/2012, la Ordenanza Normativa MEC nº 18/2012 y los avisos publicados por el Instituto. Se realizó un levamiento general sobre el número de estudiantes beneficiados por la Ley en los procesos de selección para la admisión a estos cursos. Este levantamiento se realizó con datos del Sistema Integrado de Gestión Académica (SIGA/IFTO). Al analizar las convocatorias y matrículas se concluyó que, a pesar de la oferta de vacancias prevista en la Ley nº 12.711/ 2012, solo en los años 2014 y 2015 hubo alumnos aprobados. En los demás años analizados, los alumnos no alcanzaron la nota mínima para aprobar el examen de ingreso al nivel superior.
