Linguistic practice as reinforcement of grammatical content in Spanish as a foreign language class: a playful approach

Resumo: | The lack of theoretical and practical discussions related to the reinforcement of grammatical content through linguistic practice is clearly observed in the literature on methodologies for teaching foreign languages. In this work, we seek to verify how an approach based on the application of a method that involves interaction between learners through playfulness can contribute to such questioning. To this end, a didactic sequence consisting of three recreational activities was designed to verify and remedy the difficulties that the learners still had, to review the grammatical points covered in previous classes and to practice the content considered as consolidated. The sequence was applied to third level students of the Spanish Language at Curso de Línguas Aberto à Comunidade (CLAC), offered by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. It was observed that the application of the elaborated activities proved to be satisfactory, since it enabled the verification and review of the grammatical contents referring to the level of the students, as well as the application and practice of other knowledge in the foreign language. In addition, it was found that the proposal of a playful methodology for adult learners is beneficial. |

Neste trabalho, buscamos verificar como uma abordagem baseada na aplicação de um método que envolve a interação entre os aprendizes a partir do lúdico pode contribuir para tal questionamento. Para tanto, foi elaborada uma sequência didática formada por três atividades lúdicas que tinham por objetivo verificar e sanar as dificuldades que os aprendizes ainda apresentavam, revisar os pontos gramaticais abordados em aulas anteriores e praticar o conteúdo considerado como consolidado. A sequência foi aplicada a alunos do nível três de espanhol do Curso de Línguas Aberto à Comunidade (CLAC), oferecido pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Observou-se que a aplicação das atividades elaboradas se mostrou satisfatória, visto que possibilitou a verificação e revisão dos conteúdos gramaticais referentes ao nível dos alunos, bem como a aplicação e prática de outros conhecimentos na língua estrangeira.
