Metodologias aplicadas no ensino do desporto educacional: um estudo centrado no curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física da UFAL

Among the contents of the physical education curriculum, the sport is presented with content that enables the learner opportunities to direct contact with their everyday situations such as rapid decision-making, cooperation, victory, defeat and respect for the group and differences. Such opportunities offered by the practice of sport at school will contribute to the full development of student. This study aimed to identify and interpret the methodologies in the teaching of sports in the elementary schools of the city of Maceió and its relation with the methodologies adopted by teachers, sports travel Physical Education bachelor of UFAL. The method chosen was a descriptive qualitative approach and configures itself as a case study. For data collection were used three instruments: a structured interview, direct observation and the diary, applied to teachers who teach sport in schools from elementary school (6th to 9th grade) and teachers who teach subjects directly related to the sport of undergraduate degree in Physical Education Bachelor of UFAL, complemented by fieldwork. And so, starting from the discourses of teachers, we can infer that sports present in elementary schools are targeted by methods: partial; comprehensive and constructive. The relationship of these methods with those applied in undergraduate happens because the professors of Physical Education, Bachelor of UFAL licensees seek to provide knowledge of the different ways of teaching the sport, aiming to provide information when teachers can choose whichever is most appropriate their school reality and the conception of man that you want. It was also felt by the observations, a gap between theory and practice which leads to the need to understand the offering of continuing education courses in order to minimize the gap between theory and practice, noticeable when carrying out the observations. Thus it is concluded that becomes more urgent studies directed to the teaching of school sport in order to allow his practice as a factor for social inclusion.
