Resumo: This research investigates the history of prostitution in the alleys and cabarets in Delmiro Gouveia - AL, in the late 1970s to the 1990s. Aiming to reflect on the trajectory of these sertanejas women (Mocó, Pecília, Tonha and "Maria") to which refers to the link between body, pleasure, sexuality and profit. The study will have as a methodological basis a bibliographical survey allied to a field research, which will involve scholars such as: Mary Del Priore (2007), José Carlos Sebe B. Meihy(2015), among others, and from exploratory interviews conducted with the characters themselves mentioned above and their families, in order to contribute to the debate on the history of prostitution in Brazil, given the great inferiority of Brazilian women, and in particular the Sertanejas Women. The research had a qualitative approach, unfolding in procedures such as bibliographic study and field research, from interviews to obtain data collection.

Objetivando fazer uma reflexão sobre a trajetória dessas mulheres sertanejas (Mocó, Pecília, Tonha e “Maria”) ao que se refere ao vínculo entre o corpo, prazer, sexualidade e lucro. O estudo terá como base metodológica um levantamento bibliográfico aliado à uma pesquisa de campo, na qual envolverão estudiosos como: Mary Del Priore (2007), José Carlos Sebe B. Meihy (2015), dentre outros, e a partir de entrevistas exploratórias realizadas com as próprias personagens acima citadas e familiares das mesmas, a fim de contribuir com o debate sobre a história da prostituição no Brasil, visto a grande inferioridade abarcada às mulheres brasileiras, e, em particular, as Mulheres Sertanejas.
