O uso da TV e do computador nas práticas de língua portuguesa na educação de jovens e adultos

Resumo: This study investigates the practices of adult education teachers that guide teaching and learning of reading and writing skills through the use of television and computer, such as social and learning tools. It is a qualitative research in which we conducted a case study focused on the 1st and 2nd cycle of elementary school for adults at a municipal school and at another one which was a state public school, both in Maceió - Alagoas. The construction of this study is based on the aspects related to the trajectory of the EJA in 1930, the curriculum of adult education in teaching practices mediated by technology, the importance of television and computer environments for learning reading and writing and teaching practices being developed through television and computer as tools for learning and social inclusion. The course of research with teachers and students to check the pedagogical practices through the television and computer as motivating factors to improve the quality of the teaching of Portuguese Language. We analyze the indicators of learning in the school context in the development of reading and writing skills so necessary in today's world for Young people and adults, encouraging them to learn the technology and have greater commitment to their studies, thereby, seek more suitable for insertion in the social and labor market. The results indicate that the teachers surveyed in modernizing the traditional practices as they relate to the work to develop reading and writing through television and computer. However, we find a limitation in the use of technologies by teachers who need to be more encouraged to use a variety of text genres through existing technologies, but also need more training to know and use multiple strategies that television and the computer have and can offer to the teachinglearning process in the discipline of the Portuguese language. The young adults surveyed by the classes with the television and computer felt more motivated and actively participate in moments of reflection and discussion on the issues. You also realize that the learning of reading and writing was developed during class, but teachers need these skills more systematically to students who are still literate. This study will serve as an object of knowledge for teachers of Portuguese working in adult education and who wish to improve the quality of their classes through the use of ICT. It will also help in training courses for teachers of adult education, given the lack of methods and teaching strategies in the area, but also aims to improve skills and language skills that lead students to use language in different contexts.

Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa na qual realizamos um estudo de caso voltado para o 1º e 2º ciclos de EJA do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola da rede municipal e outra da rede estadual de Maceió – Alagoas. O construto deste estudo fundamenta-se nos aspectos relacionados à trajetória da EJA a partir de 1930, ao currículo da EJA na prática docente mediada pelas tecnologias, à importância da televisão e do computador nos ambientes de aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita e das práticas docentes que estão sendo desenvolvidas por meio da televisão e do computador como ferramentas de aprendizagem e de inclusão social. O percurso da investigação junto às professoras e alunos verifica as práticas pedagógicas por meio da televisão e do computador como elementos motivadores para a melhoria da qualidade das aulas de Língua Portuguesa. Analisamos os indicadores da aprendizagem no contexto escolar no desenvolvimento das habilidades de leitura e escrita tão necessárias no mundo atual para os jovens e adultos, estimulando-os a aprender com as tecnologias e a terem maior compromisso com os estudos, para assim, buscarem a maneira mais adequada para a sua inserção no meio social e no mercado de trabalho. Os resultados da pesquisa indicaram que as professoras pesquisadas modernizam o tradicional no que se referem às práticas para desenvolver o trabalho de leitura e escrita por meio da televisão e do computador. Entretanto, percebe-se uma limitação no uso das tecnologias por parte das professoras que precisam ser mais estimuladas para utilizarem a variedade de gêneros textuais existentes por meio das tecnologias, como também necessitam de maior capacitação para conhecer e saber utilizar as múltiplas estratégias que a televisão e o computador possuem e podem oferecer para ao processo ensino-aprendizagem na disciplina de Língua Portuguesa. Os jovens e adultos pesquisados por meio das aulas com a televisão e computador sentiram-se mais motivados e participavam ativamente dos momentos de reflexão e discussão sobre os temas. Percebemos também que a aprendizagem da leitura e escrita foi desenvolvida durante as aulas, mas as professoras precisarão sistematizar mais essas habilidades aos alunos que ainda estão se alfabetizando. Este estudo servirá como objeto de conhecimento para os professores de Língua Portuguesa que atuam na EJA e que desejam melhorar a qualidade de suas aulas através do uso das TIC.
