Resumo: The work aims to obtain the conception of the set of ternary Cantor and its properties, in a way that comes to present the concepts of real analysis, as well as the construction of this set and the investigation of its properties. The work was carried out through content reading, solving exercises and seminars. Thus, the results are the presentation of the ternary Cantor set as a set contained in the interval [0,1] of the resumption, through an interactive process, such as the omission of open intervals contained in that interval. In this way, it is seen as properties of this set, they being compact, having an empty interior, being unnumerable and all its points being points of accumulation of this set. In addition, the numerical representation of the points of this set in base 3 is studied, as those that only determine the digits 0 and 2 in this representation. Finally, Cantor’s ternary function as being monotonous, growing and continuous.

O trabalho foi realizado através de leitura de conteúdo, resolução de exercícios e seminários. Assim, tem-se como resultados a apresentação do conjunto de Cantor ternário como um conjunto contido no intervalo [0,1] da reta, obtido através de um processo interativo, como a omissão de intervalos abertos contidos nesse intervalo. Desta forma, vê-se as propriedades deste conjunto, dentre elas, ser compacto, ter interior vazio, ser não-enumerável e todos os seus pontos serem pontos de acumulação deste conjunto. Além disto, estuda-se a representação numérica dos pontos deste conjunto na base 3, como sendo aqueles que só contêm os algarismos 0 e 2 nesta representação.
