Analyze as the counter is stereotyped by the universe of movies is important for understanding the image of this professional by society. For many times he is seen involved in scandals in the media, being treated as a unethical person and based their functions on fiscal bookkeeping duties. It faced this problem, the objective of work was to demonstrate through analysis of films, the way as the movie represents, communicates and transmits messages about counter´s image. Justifying by the way that it´s doing an analysis of how the movie represents the accounting professional, it´s important to understanding of how society sees his image, because the movie is not only a place where it goes to be distracted, but a instrument of communication that it treats situations experienced in society through their characters. Watch a movie presupposes the ability of the viewer to let himself be transported to screen and live that another reality. In this way, the present job used a descriptive and qualitative methodology, it´s analyzing the films: The Untouchables, Schindler's List and The ist: are you free today? tracing a theoretical reference that it explains a little of the history of Accounting and also ethics, marking the manner of images´ construction and the influence of cinema in the same mood construction and finally, relating the various ways of acting the counter in society. The work takes to the conclude that the film has enormous contributions in forming counter´s image in society and the way as he transmits this image depends on characteristics at the time, place and context, which many times they bring the counter as subject unethical and many times they represent him as an exemplary professional and follower of ethical principles inherent to profession. A short journey through fascinating world of movies and pictures in searching representation of the professional accountant.
