The debate involving accessibility and inclusion has broadened the focus on the need to ensure broad access to rights and services for people with disabilities. The solutions to face the different challenges in the area are specific, since each person brings with them singularities related to their disability. The development of technologies has been one of the allies to reduce the gap that exists for this audience. The aim of this work was to carry out a technological analysis of accessibility products for people with visual impairments. The patent search was carried out at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and European Patent Office (Espacenet®), and of computer programs at INPI. The results show that there are great market possibilities for the development of technological products to meet the needs of people with visual impairments, such as audio description.
