Trans people and education:: a systematic review of literature (2017-2018)

Following the trail of other bibliographic research, this study presents a systematic review of the relationship between trans universe and Education, from 2014 to 2018. Based on searches on SciELO, Google Scholar and Google, as well as on events on gender and sexuality, 41 publications were found in the form of texts in the annals of events, articles in periodicals, dissertations and theses. The material was analyzed in the light of post-critical theories and qualitative approach. As a result, there was a greater number of works in the category of articles and chapters, with a prevalence of research in the southern region of the country and incipient productions with regard to the central-west and north regions. Considering previous studies, there was an increase in production in all publishing scenarios. It should also be noted that most of the studies found focused on transsexual and transvestite women, with a reduced number of studies on trans men and/or transmasculinities. Keywords: Trans people.
