Entrepreneurship education in basic education: a systematic literature review

This work aims to analyze the literature on entrepreneurship education (EE) in basic education. The databases Web of Science and Portal de Periódicos da CAPES were chosen, resulting in 38 articles published between 1998 and 2019. The review identified the concentration of articles originating from European countries and the predominance of journals in ??Administration & Economics, followed by for Education. Content analysis identified thematic groups: curriculum analysis, pedagogical policies and practices; evaluation and effects of initiatives; entrepreneurial profile of students; and theoretical and historical perspectives of EE. Relevant points and some opportunities: (a) little is discussed about pedagogical practices; (b) concentration of countries, with European predominance; (c) there is room for more research on the effects of EE initiatives; (d) evaluation of initiatives comparing pedagogical practices, contents and formats; (e) national research in journals of greater impact.
