São Bernardo do Campo, 2023During the school journey students are introduced to many areas of knowledge through subjectives that will, somehow, awaken pleasure or aversion. In Physics' case, there are recurrent negative emotions of High School's students, from a restlessness with this theme that this research arises. The alternative chosen to explore this scenario was the investigation of emotions in Physics Teaching. Supported by Antônio Damásio's theory, we started from the conception that emotions are the body's reaction that aims to survive and provoque a series of effects. When considering classroom focus, the biological dimension of emotion is necessary, but not enough. This way, we also explore The pedagogical and social perspectives of emotional processes lived by the students in a Physics' course. Then, the central objective of this research was the verification of emotions in the classroom through Emotional Climate's investigation, looking for possible correlations of these emotions with teaching practice adopted by a professor in a Relative course by a public university in São Paulo. From the emotion's measurement of each student, we reunite the individual number and determine the Emotional Climate of the class. We analyzed how the students felt every 5 minutes, and analyzed the correlation between student's emotions and teacher's approach. The results indicate the possibility of emotions measurement, specially in classroom context, so identify how teaching approaches impact the Emotional Climate.
