Resumo: The text aims to address the offer of professional education by the third sector based on results of research carried out with two non-governmental organizations (NGOs) located in outskirts of the city of Salvador, capital of Bahia. The proposed reflection considers that, in parallel existence of a federal network structured around this educational modality that even counts with recognition and prestige it is possible to identify the existence of another ‘network’ that directs its provision of job training to a young population characterized by a situation of vulnerability. If, on the one hand, the profile of the young people served distinguishes these two networks, on the other hand the offer of training for work is a point of convergence between them, despite all their specificities.These specificities, however, do not prevent these two universes from confronting the issue training and pedagogical practice of its teachers and instructors when it comes to dealing with interfaces between education and work in learning situations involving youth. For addressing these aspects, narrative interviews were conducted with those responsible for the courses offered by the surveyed NGOs.

La reflexión propuesta considera que, en paralelo existencia de una red federal estructurada alrededor de esta modalidad educativa que incluso cuenta con reconocimiento y prestigio, es posible identificar la existencia de otra "red" que dirige su provisión de capacitación laboral a una población joven caracterizada por una situación de vulnerabilidad. Si, por un lado, el perfil de los jóvenes atendidos distingue estas dos redes, por otro lado, la oferta de la formación para el trabajo es un punto de convergencia entre ellos, a pesar de todas sus especificidades. Sin embargo, estas especificidades no impiden que estos dos universos confronten el problema de la formación y práctica pedagógica de sus profesores e instructores a la hora de tratar interfaces entre educación y trabajo en situaciones de aprendizaje que incluyen a jóvenes. Para abordar estos aspectos, se realizaron entrevistas narrativas con los responsables de los cursos ofrecidos por las ONG encuestadas.O texto tem como objetivo tratar da oferta de educação profissional pelo terceiro setor a partir de resultados de pesquisa realizada junto a duas Organizações não Governamentais (Ong’s) localizadas na periferia da cidade do Salvador, capital da Bahia. A reflexão proposta considera que paralelamente a existência de uma rede federal estruturada em torno dessa modalidade educativa que, inclusive, conta com reconhecimento e prestigio é possível identificar a existência de uma outra ‘rede’ que direciona sua oferta de formação para o trabalho à uma população jovem caracterizada pela situação de vulnerabilidade. Se por um lado o perfil dos jovens atendidos distingue essas duas redes, por outro lado a oferta de formação para o trabalho é um ponto de convergência entre elas, apesar de todas suas especificidades. Essas especificidades, no entanto, não impedem que esses dois universos se confrontem com a questão da formação e da prática pedagógica de seus docentes e instrutores quando se trata de lidar com as interfaces entre educação e trabalho em situações de aprendizagem que envolvem as juventudes.
