History and Memory of Professional and Technological Education:: the narratives of the process of implantation and expansion of the Federal Institute of Amapá

Resumo: | The objective of this article is to characterize the history and memory of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amapá in the first years of its implementation (2007 to 2014), in a context of constant institutional reforms of professional and technological education in Brazil. The research sought to analyze the institutional documents, laws, decrees and ordinances related to professional education in Brazil and Amapá, with emphasis on Law 11.892 of December 29, 2008, which gives a new format to the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education with the creation of the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology. For the development of this research, the qualitative approach was chosen, through bibliographic research, documentary analysis and interviews. The results reveal the detailed paths taken in the process of transformation of the Amapá Federal Technical School (ETFAP) into the Amapá Federal Institute (IFAP), the installation in provisional units, the choice of the first courses and their importance for regional development. |

La investigación trató de analizar los documentos institucionales, leyes, decretos y ordenanzas relacionados con la educación profesional en Brasil y Amapá, con énfasis en la Ley 11.892 del 29 de diciembre de 2008, que da un nuevo formato a la Red Federal de Educación Profesional, Científica y Tecnológica con la creación de los Institutos Federales de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología. Para el desarrollo de esta investigación se eligió el enfoque cualitativo, a través de la investigación bibliográfica, el análisis documental y las entrevistas. Los resultados revelan las trayectorias detalladas del proceso de transformación de la Escuela Técnica Federal de Amapá (ETFAP) en el Instituto Federal de Amapá (IFAP), la instalación en unidades provisionales, la elección de los primeros cursos y su importancia para el desarrollo regional.O objetivo deste artigo é caracterizar a história e memória do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amapá a partir das narrativas dos pioneiros que contribuíram significativamente na construção da proposta pedagógica de educação profissional e tecnológica nos primeiros anos de sua implantação (2007 a 2014). A pesquisa buscou analisar os documentos institucionais, leis, decretos e portarias, relacionados a educação profissional no Brasil e no Amapá, com destaque a Lei de criação dos Institutos Federais, Lei 11.892 de 29 de dezembro de 2008, entre outros dispositivos legais. Para o desenvolvimento desta investigação, optou-se pela abordagem qualitativa, através de pesquisa bibliográfica, análise documental e entrevistas.
