The use of facebook in chemistry classes: a pedagogical intervention with students in the second high school series

Resumo: | This article aims to investigate the contributions of using Facebook through a pedagogical intervention in Chemistry classes, with students of the 2nd grade of High School, from a State school in the North Zone of the city of Manaus - AM. The research made use of Fanpage, creating it for students to discuss, post and clarify doubts about the contents of Chemistry, since from the records, it was found some of the difficulties encountered by students in understanding the contents of this curricular component were due to monotonous classes, which justified their lack of encouragement and interest. After the pedagogical intervention, with the use of Facebook in class it was found, through the students' speeches, that the learning of the contents was satisfactory, since it helped the teacher, and themselves, who were able to answer questions and interact in the forums, sending videos and questions about the contents studied, contributing to the greater involvement of all. It became evident that the use of social network, in this case Faceboock, can be used to analyze and resolve issues and exercises of programmatic content, solving doubts more quickly, with the exchange of knowledge and information. This research highlights the importance of the relationship between student and teacher, and the need to encourage the free expression of students and the use of applications and software for their educational process, in all disciplines. |

La investigación hizo uso de "Fanpage", creándolo para que los estudiantes puedan discutir, postear y aclarar dudas sobre los contenidos en la materia Química, ya que a partir de los registros, se constató que algunas de las dificultades encontradas por los estudiantes para comprender los contenidos de este componente curricular se debían a la monotonía de las clases, lo que justificaba su falta de estímulo e interés. Después de la intervención pedagógica, con el uso de Facebook en clase se constató, a través de los discursos de los alumnos, que el aprendizaje de los contenidos era satisfactorio, ya que ayudaba tanto al profesor como a ellos mismos y que podían responder a las preguntas e interactuar en los foros, enviando videos y preguntas sobre los contenidos estudiados, contribuyendo a una mayor implicación de todos. Se hizo evidente que el uso de la red social, en este caso el Facebook, puede ser utilizado para analizar y resolver cuestiones y ejercicios de contenido programático, resolviendo dudas más rápidamente, con el intercambio de conocimientos e información. Esta investigación pone en relieve la importancia de la relación entre el estudiante y el profesor y la necesidad de fomentar la libre expresión de los estudiantes y el uso de aplicaciones y software para su proceso educativo, en todas las disciplinas.O presente artigo tem como objetivo, investigar as contribuições do uso do Facebook mediante uma intervenção pedagógica nas aulas de Química, com alunos da 2ª série do Ensino Médio, de uma escola Estadual da Zona Norte da cidade de Manaus - AM. A pesquisa fez uso da Fanpage, criando-a para os alunos discutirem, postarem e tirarem dúvidas sobre os conteúdos de Química, visto que a partir dos registros, constatou-se algumas das dificuldades encontradas pelos alunos em entender os conteúdos deste componente curricular eram devido às aulas monótonas, o que justificava a falta de estímulo e interesse deles. Após a intervenção pedagógica, com o uso do Facebook nas aulas apurou-se, por meio das falas dos alunos, que a aprendizagem dos conteúdos foi satisfatória, uma vez que auxiliou o professor, e a eles próprios, que puderam tirar dúvidas e interagir nos fóruns, enviando vídeos e perguntas sobre os conteúdos estudados, contribuindo para o maior envolvimento de todos. Evidenciou-se que o uso das redes sociais, no caso o Faceboock, pode ser utilizado para analisar e resolver questões e exercícios de conteúdo programático, solucionando as dúvidas de maneira mais rápida, havendo a troca de conhecimento e informação.
