Sociology of Education in Brazil (1993-2015): a state of the art in the graduate studies

Resumo: | This article seeks to update the “State of the Art” about the Sociology Education in the Brazilian postgraduation. The methodology was due through a survey on the site “Capes Thesis Bank” and on “repositories” and “Thesis and dissertation bank” from several superior education institutions, through the key words “Sociology education”, “Sociology in the education” and “Sociology in the school”. Among the results, it is emphasized that: i) there is a continuous growing of dissertations and thesis about the thematic after the year 2008; ii) the productions are still centralized in the South and Southeast Regions; iii) there is an amplification of defended works in the Social Sciences Post-Graduation programs, which equilibrates the thematic production, before with hegemony in the education postgraduation programs and; iv) thematic such as the professor formation and didactic books, starts to arise in the most recent works. |

A metodologia se deu através de um levantamento no site “Banco de Teses Capes” e em “repositórios” e “base de teses e dissertações” de diversas Instituições Superiores de Ensino, através das palavras-chave “Ensino de Sociologia”, “Sociologia no Ensino” e “Sociologia na Escola”.
