Most current writers, who use only the computer for their creations and posts, give up very important records that would facilitate the work of the critic and make their texts more accessible to the public, the manuscripts. The material of the Confrontation Sonnet "In our differences", provided by the author, brings together 15 documents, which must be considered by the critical geneticist in his analysis. This work emerged from years of experience as a poet, essayist and literary critic of Pedro Lyra, who kept in his office all the manuscripts of his sonnets, with their respective dates and places, begun in thin and thick sheets, bingo cards, tickets, napkins, beer holders, newspapers, letterheads from colleges or hotels where he had been to or, as a result of the fate - very welcome, by the way - "fell" in his hands, thus providing new writings, new sonnets that, in the future, would become books recognized and valued by the critics. The Poet is seen as one of the greatest of today, with deep and diversified words to deal with varied subjects, from love to politics, from historical to philosophical, from daily life to God. In this work, the main focus will be the ownership of words, the idealization of the muse-woman and the fact of love, from which it is possible to infer the presence not only of three but of five distinct characters that surround the universe of individualpoet and poet-individual.
