Aprendizagens, afetos e desafios: docência e discência em contexto pandêmico da Covid-19

The pandemic context, due to COVID-19, brought about several changes and transformations in people’s daily lives and, particularly, in the university context. The purpose of this article/experience report is to debate the challenges of teaching in pandemic times, as well as the process of building remote learning, considering the educational and pedagogical experiences in this context. Therefore, reflections from the author’s experiences in teaching, in research, and in the development of extension projects are presented in this text. The methodology used here proposes, in addition to exposing the results of the research, to present the experience built in teaching-learning and, in this way, to affirm that what becomes relevant are the educational processes that are created throughout the learning process which is built in pandemic times. The present discussion is in alignment with Paulo Freire’s thinking, acknowledging the relevance of his writings in what comes to thinking of education as a practice of freedom, an exercise that is built from dialogue, the relationship between teaching and teaching, teaching-learning, and the political and transformative nature of the university’s educational process in its relationship with society.
