Resumo: | This study was carried out during a supplementary activity of Stage I in Elementar y Education - Early Years of the Education College of the Federal University of Ceará. It’s qualitative education research that aimed to be a critical analysis of teaching work during the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the pedagogical practices that were adopted in this period of social isolation an dremote teaching. The research was based on the legal assumption soft he Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988, as well as the Brazilian National Education Guid elines and Bases Act of 1996, and studies by authors dealing with related topics, such as remote education (ARRUDA, 2020), evaluation (LUCKESI, 2002) and literacy (SOARES, 2003). The data were constructed through observing the practices of a teacher from the municipal education network in Fortaleza, and by carrying out semi-structured interviews with the teacher and with the families of students. Ananalysis of such data showed the difficulties encountered by the teacher in a new educational context for whichs he was not prepared, and the lack of support, especially emotional, for professionals in the field. Weal so concluded that the teacher, despite not considering remote teaching as ideal, sought to carry out coherent and effective work besides the fearregarding the return to face-to-face classes and the possible damage that the network may have in the quality of education. |

Weal so concluded that the teacher, despite not considering remote teaching as ideal, sought to carry out coherent and effective work besides the fearregarding the return to face-to-face classes and the possible damage that the network may have in the quality of education.Este estudo, realizado durante a atividade suplementar de Estágio I no Ensino Fundamental – Anos Iniciais da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Federal do Ceará, trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa em educação que teve como objetivo ser uma análise crítica acerca do trabalho docente durante o contexto da pandemia de Covid-19, bem como das práticas pedagógicas que foram adotadas neste período de isolamento social e de ensino remoto. A pesquisa foi fundamentada nos pressupostos legais da Constituição Federal de 1988, bem como da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional de 1996 e nos estudos de autores que versam sobre as temáticas relacionadas, como ensino remoto (ARRUDA, 2020), avaliação (LUCKESI, 2002) e alfabetização e letramento (SOARES, 2003). Os dados foram construídos por meio de observação das práticas de uma professora da rede municipal de ensino de Fortaleza e da realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas com a docente e com as famílias de alunos da mesma. A análise de tais dados evidenciou as dificuldades encontradas pela referida professora em um novo contexto educativo para o qual não estava preparada e a falta de suporte, sobretudo emocional, aos profissionais da área.
