Estudios lexicográficos y formación docente de español como lengua extranjera: experiencias en la Universidad Federal de Sergipe

Resumo: The paper’s main goal is to promote discussions about the importance of the development of pedagogical lexicography, as well as the lexicographic and metalexicographical studies in teacher training university programs of Spanish as a foreign language. In order to accomplish this, we share some of the experiences had at the Federal University of Sergipe in undergraduate courses in Letters since 2013 on three different fronts: teaching, research and university extension. As a framework for this research, we use scientific texts on metalexicography (REY-DEBOVE, 1984; LARA, 1990; WELKER, 2004; HUMBLÉ, 2007; RODRÍGUEZ BARCIA, 2016), and pedagogical lexicography (DARÉ VARGAS, 2018; MOREIRA, 2018). We will see that with these actions we have achieved: (i) to bring the field of lexicography to student’s knowledge, which might still be unknown to some of them; (ii) to improve the regard and to demystify the usage of dictionaries for training in Spanish as a foreign language (SFL); and (iii) to recognize the prominence and importance of lexicographic studies in our specific context of action. With this paper we hope to be able to contribute to the amplification of this important area through the scientific dissemination of efforts that includes lexicographic studies in Brazil, as these are of extreme importance for the consolidation of the field, mainly in the Letters degrees in our country.

Para ello, compartimos algunas de las experiencias que hemos tenido en la Universidad Federal de Sergipe en los cursos de grado en Letras desde 2013 en tres frentes distintos: la enseñanza, la investigación y la extensión universitaria. Como base teórica para este ensayo, utilizamos textos científicos principalmente sobre metalexicografía (REY-DEBOVE, 1984; LARA, 1990; WELKER, 2004; HUMBLÉ, 2007; RODRÍGUEZ BARCIA, 2016) y lexicografía pedagógica (DARÉ VARGAS, 2018; MOREIRA, 2018). Veremos que hemos conseguido, con las acciones llevadas a cabo: (i) dar a conocer el campo de la lexicografía, aún desconocido entre nuestros estudiantes; (ii) valorar y desmitificar el uso de diccionarios para la formación en español como lengua extranjera (ELE); y (iii) reconocer el protagonismo e importancia de los estudios lexicográficos en nuestro contexto específico de actuación.
