This project intends to develop in practice the three pillars of Brazilian higher education: teaching, research and extension, delimited in the thematic of the methodology BIM. This methodology consists of the virtual construction of an enterprise with information inserted in each component of the project, allowing the prediction of its behavior in several areas (costs, durability and impacts) throughout its life cycle. Originally, the project existed as a study group and used the cooperative learning model as a foundation. Subsequently, it was structured as an extension project. The Office of Integrated Projects in Engineering (EPE) has business models that allow the routine of a project office to members, thus generating impacts in the academic environment. In addition, the project served as a principle for the creation of the discipline of Information Modeling and Construction currently offered by the Department of Academic and Technological Integration (DIATEC) of the Technology Center of the Federal University of Ceará.
