Resumo: The present work is an attempt to compare two groups of intellectuals that became references in their respective areas and that helped to highlight the works of its members in their respective times: Guel Arraes Nucleus, which appeared in Brazilian television in the 1980’s and Bloomsbury Group, which appeared in post-Victorian England. Theoretical fundamentation was based on the concepts of “structure of feelings” and “ethos” by Raymond Williams.
