This research has as its theme the communication accessibility in information products of university libraries. The main objective was to analyze whether the information products of university libraries in northeastern Brazil have applied communication accessibility requirements. The development of the research is justified by the reason that, in recent years, an increase in the number of students with disabilities who entered higher education has been observed. Thus, it has become necessary to analyze whether libraries have acted to meet the demand of users with disabilities in their access and use in information products. Regarding methodological procedures, the research presents a qualitative approach, in relation to the type of research, a bibliographic review was adopted, through which some theoretical assumptions on the subject were developed, characterizing itself as a descriptive research. The instrument for data collection was initially a mapeament The instrument for data collection was initially a mapping on the websites of libraries of federal universities located in the capital of the northeast region, in order to select information products for analysis. In a second moment, after selection of informational products, direct observation was used using the parameters of the accessibility manual in a digital document made available by IFRS. The results of the research indicated that, in general, the informational products of the libraries analyzed have met accessibility practices, however, it is important to pay for an improvement in welcoming some important practices to promote accessibility and informational inclusion of their user community. It is concluded that, although good practices have been observed, as well as meeting some criteria and accessibility requirements, there are still aspects that need to be met, aiming at achieving the main objective of the entire library: to provide access to information to all as broadly as possible.
