Building Inspection became a very common term after building disasters, which often ended in deaths. What was supposed to be a fundamental thing in all buildings, only started to appear after the worst happened. Building inspection has as one of its goals to prevent structural breakdowns from happening, and that users of buildings to use them comfortably and safely. Inspection is always linked to maintenance, which is indispensable for the buildings to have a long useful life, and have a lower devaluation of property over the years. In this work, a case study of building inspection was carried out in a block of studies of FEAAC, Universidade Federal do Ceará, always in accordance with the Brazilian inspection standards. A technical report was prepared about the irregularities found in the building, in the various building subsystems. The report is based on checklists to check for possible anomalies, accompanied by photos of the problems encountered in the technical survey and technical recommendations for those problems, and then sorted into a priority list. With this report, the block’s managers can become aware of the problems that must be solved and take the necessary measures to solve them, as recommended.
