Resumo: This work intends to do, in a first step, an approach of the story “Brasilia” of First floor with the Romance To love, intransitive verb - idyll, both of Mário de Andrade. The romance, it can be inferred, was born of the ripening of a process that already announced her in the story. In a second step, it will be reflected the displacement operated by the aesthetics of Mário de Andrade, configured in the option by the a german character’s creation, substituting the French. The approach of the Brazilian culture with the German (subject that unavoidably sees to the tona) or of the absence of culture of both nations, it will allow the approach Mário de Andrade to philosopher Nietzsche, both extremely worried with the cultural subject. The one that more gets the attention, in fact, is the likeness of the process dionysiac (as described in The birth of the tragedy in the spirit of the music of Nietzsche), lived by the respective characters. We will discuss as such a displacement it was extremely productive inside of the prerogatives of the Modernism.

O romance, pode-se inferir, nasceu do amadurecimento de um processo que já se anunciava no conto. Num segundo passo, refletir-se-á o deslocamento operado pela estética de Mário de Andrade, configurado na opção pela criação de uma personagem alemã, substituindo a francesa. A aproximação da cultura brasileira com a alemã (questão que inevitavelmente vira à tona) ou da ausência de cultura de ambas as nações, permitirá a aproximação de Mário de Andrade ao filósofo Nietzsche, ambos extremamente preocupados com a questão cultural. O que mais chama a atenção, aliás, é a semelhança do processo dionisíaco (conforme descrito em O Nascimento da Tragédia no espírito da Música de Nietzsche), vivido pelas respectivas personagens.
