Insertion of principles of anthropogeomorphology on the secondary school: subsidies for the development of cartographic language and conceptions of physical geography

Resumo: The objective of this work was to present the results of cartographic tests carried out by high school students to classify land use and land cover in a scenario possibly free from anthropogenic disturbance. Based on this presentation we aim to discuss the potential application of principles of Anthropogeomorphology for the development of skills related to the geographic reasoning of these students. The cartographic documents were elaborated based on photo interpretation of anaglyph images produced in a free software environment. The adaptation of methodological procedures of Anthropogeomorphology provided subsidies for the recognition of the stage of anthropic intervention in a past scenario, and also assisted in the preliminary analysis of the temporal evolution of land use and land cover and in the definition of violations of current environmental regulations. Thus, the theoretical and methodological assumptions adopted in this study constitute a resource in the teaching-learning process of cartographic language and environmental issues in secondary education.

Con base en la presentación, se busca discutir las potencialidades de la aplicación de los principios de la Antropogeomorfología para el desarrollo de habilidades relacionadas al raciocinio geográfico de los estudiantes. Los documentos cartográficos fueron elaborados por medio de la fotointerpretación de imágenes anáglifos generadas en ambiente de software libre. La adaptación de los procedimientos metodológicos de la Antropogeomorfología fortalece las herramientas para el reconocimiento del estado de intervención antrópica en escenario pretéritos, así como en el análisis preliminar sobre la evolución temporal del uso y cobertura de la tierra y en la elaboración del cuadro de las violaciones a las regulaciones de la legislación ambiental vigente. Así, se acepta que la propuesta teórica metodológica utilizada en el estudio constituye un recurso en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje del lenguaje cartográfico y de los asuntos ambientales en educación media.  Este trabalho teve como objetivo apresentar os resultados de ensaios cartográficos realizados por discentes do ensino médio para a classificação do uso e cobertura da terra em possível cenário de pré-perturbação antrópica. Com base nessa apresentação, discutir a potencialidade de aplicação de princípios da Antropogeomorfologia para o desenvolvimento de habilidades relacionadas ao raciocínio geográfico desses alunos. Os documentos cartográficos foram elaborados por meio da fotointerpretação de imagens anáglifos geradas no ambiente de software livre. A adaptação de procedimentos metodológicos da Antropogemorfologia forneceu subsídios para o reconhecimento do estágio de intervenção antrópica em cenário pretérito e, ainda, auxiliou na análise preliminar sobre a evolução temporal do uso e cobertura da terra e na definição de um quadro de violações de dispositivos da legislação ambiental vigente.
