O PROGRAMA ENSINO MÉDIO INOVADOR (PROEMI) NO CONTEXTO DAS POLÍTICAS DO BANCO MUNDIAL: rumo à formação de trabalhadores de novo tipo?

Este artigo trata do Programa Ensino Médio Inovador (ProEMI) em seu alinhamento com as orientações do Banco Mundial. Nossa investigação fundamentou-se na análise dos documentos orientadores do ProEMI (2009 a 2014) e do documento do Banco Mundial intitulado Estratégias para a Educação 2010–2020. A partir deste estudo chegamos a duas conclusões: a) O ProEMI insere-se no contexto das políticas do Banco Mundial e contribui para a formação de um trabalhador de novo tipo; b) a Reforma do Ensino Médio (Lei nº 13.415/2017) é a continuação de práticas que já vinham sendo implementadas via adesão de programas como o ProEMI.Palavras-chave: Ensino médio; Banco Mundial; Trabalho e Educação. THE PROGRAMA ENSINO MÉDIO INOVADOR (PROEMI) IN THE CONTEXT OF THE WORLD BANK (WB) POLICIES: training of new type of workers?AbstractThis article is about the alignment of the Programa Ensino Médio Inovador (ProEMI) with the guidelines of the World Bank. Our investigation was based on analysis of the guidance documents of ProEMI (2009 to 2014) and the World Bank document entitled strategies for Education 2010-2020. from this study we reached two conclusions: a) The ProEMI context of the policies of the World Bank contributes to formation of a new type of worker; b) the reform of high school (Law nº 13.415/2017) is a continuation of practices already being implemented via accession programmes such as ProEMI.Keywords: High school; World Bank; Work and Education.
