THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS OF AGRIBUSINESS HEGEMONY IN BRAZIL: HISTÓRICAL RECURRENCES AND CLASS HABITUS

Resumo: It reflects on the process of construction of the hegemony of rural patronage and agribusiness in Brazil in recent decades. It shows that the search for greater cohesion is supported by several aspects: the elaboration of unifying demands; the strengthening of interest representation spaces; choosing trusted allies; the construction of na image that carries the capabilities and potentials necessary for the performance of hegemony; the commitment to the elaboration of a rhetoric of legitimacy and power in which everyone identifies and the offensive against political and class adversaries. That is, actions and discourses that aim above all at physical and symbolic violence and the disqualification of people, groups and social movements that question the postures of rural patronage and its allies and establish limits to the construction of rural patronage and agribusiness hegemony.Keywords: agribusiness; rural patronage; hegemony.

Indica que la búsqueda de una mayor cohesión se sustenta em varios aspectos: la elaboración de demandas unificadoras; el fortalecimiento de los espacios de representación de intereses; elegir aliados de confianza; la construcción de una imagen que llevelas capacidades y potencialidades necesarias para el desempeño de la hegemonía; el compromiso con la elaboración de una retórica de legitimidad y poder en la que todos puedan identificarse y la ofensiva contra los adversarios políticos y de clase. Es decir, acciones y discursos que apuntan sobre todo a la violencia física y simbólica y a la descalificación de personas, grupos y movimientos sociales que cuestionan las posturas Del mecenazgo rural y sus aliados y establecen límites a la construcción Del mecenazgo rural y la hegemonía agroindustrial.Palabras llave: agroindustria; mecenazgo rural; hegemonía.Reflete sobre o processo de construção da hegemonia do patronato rural e do agronegócio no Brasil nas últimas décadas.
