Resumo: In Toward a Philosophy of the Act, Mikhail Bakhtin presents us with a philosophical dialogue influenced by neo-Kantism and phenomenology. The work is an unfinished essay, in which the author seeks to discuss the division between the world of culture and life, the problems attributed to being and the transitivity of the responsible act, triggering a philosophical turn in relation to contemporary philosophy. For the author, the act can only be considered as real when it is in its entirety, that is, when he participates in the event of his existence, not separating himself from the felt content and the historical reality of the act. Therefore, each thought with its content is a singular act for which we are responsible, this act makes up our life that occurs in a singular way, it is a complex act, this thought will be our responsible act. However, there are two centers around which the architecture of the responsible act is built: the center of the self and the center of the other. Thus, the other ends up implying our decision making, through the value that he attributes to a given experience will be delimiting our responsible action.

La obra constituye un ensayo inacabado, en el que el autor busca discutir la división entre el mundo de la cultura y el de la vida, los problemas atribuidos al ser y la transitividad del acto responsable, desencadenando un giro filosófico en relación a la filosofía contemporánea. Para el autor, el acto sólo puede ser considerado real cuando se encuentra en su totalidad, es decir, cuando participa del acontecimiento de su existencia, no desligándose del contenido sentido y de la realidad histórica del acto. Por tanto, cada pensamiento con su contenido es un acto singular del que somos responsables, este acto conforma nuestra vida que se da de manera singular, es un acto complejo, por lo que este pensamiento será nuestro acto responsable. Sin embargo, existen dos centros en torno a los cuales se construye la arquitectura del acto responsable: el centro del yo y el centro del otro. Así, el otro acaba implicando en la toma de decisiones del sujeto, así, a través del valor que le atribuye a una determinada experiencia, estará delimitando su acción responsable.Em Para uma Filosofia do Ato Responsável, Mikhail Bakhtin nos apresenta um diálogo filosófico influenciado pelo neokantismo e pela fenomenologia. A obra se constitui em um ensaio inacabado, em que o autor busca discutir a divisão entre o mundo da cultura e da vida, os problemas atribuídos ao ser e a transitividade do ato responsável, desencadeando uma virada filosófica em relação a filosofia contemporânea. Para o autor o ato só pode ser tido como real quando se encontra em sua totalidade, ou seja, quando ele participa do evento do seu existir não se separando do conteúdo sentido e da realidade histórica do ato. Portanto, cada pensamento com seu conteúdo é um ato singular pelo qual nós somos responsáveis, este ato compõe a nossa vida que ocorre de forma singular, é um ato complexo, assim, este pensamento será o nosso ato responsável. No entanto, existem dois centros em torno dos quais se constrói a arquitetônica do ato responsável: o centro do eu e o centro do outro.
