Decolonizing the Digital History: Notes on Cyberculture, History teaching and Fundamentals of Education

Resumo: This article has developed a dual purpose. First, correlating the investigations about Digital History with History teaching and the fundamentals of Education (History of Education, Philosophy of Education, Sociology of Education, Psychology of Education). For this, cyberculture was selected as a territory of lived history, through which the making of socio-historical subjects happens. Second, by demonstrating the presence of socio-racial discrimination in cyberculture, it was pointed out the need to decolonize this digital lived history territory comprehension, actions and historical narratives. It is from the convergence and dialogue of historiographic and educational research methods that the “practices of digital historical educability” analyzes were defended as means of correlating those two objectives.

Primeiro, correlacionar as investigações acerca da História Digital, com o ensino de História e os fundamentos da Educação (História da Educação, Filosofia da Educação, Sociologia da Educação, Psicologia da Educação). Para isso, adotou-se a cibercultura enquanto território da história vivida, por meio do qual ocorre o fazer-se de sujeitos sócio-históricos. Segundo, ao demonstrar a presença das discriminações sociorraciais na cibercultura, apontou-se a necessidade de se decolonizar a compreensão, as ações e as narrativas históricas presentes e desenvolvidas nesse território da história vivida digital.
