BEING “ONLINE” IN CONTEMPORARY AFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS – A REFLECTION ON THE MOVIE “HER”

Resumo: This article aims to discuss the ways in the contemporary life has behaved in the face of technologies that facilitate affective relationships. We use critical theoretical perspectives on the use of digital technologies to supply and validate the understanding of affective interactions carried out in cyberspace. The concepts of sociation, metropolis, liquid love, among others, help us to think about contemporary affective relationships both from the perspective of subjectivity and the mercantile of matter. The central argument of the text focuses on the fact that we are subjected to the use of relationship applications and that these technologies can shape our daily lives, our subjectivities, our wills and desires as conscious beings, in the direction of exchanging material affection for being online. Utilizamos perspectivas teóricas críticas sobre el uso de las tecnologías digitales para suministrar y validar la comprensión de las interacciones afectivas que se llevan a cabo en el ciberespacio. Los conceptos de sociabilidad, metrópolis, amor líquido, entre otros, nos ayudan a pensar las relaciones afectivas contemporáneas tanto desde la perspectiva de la subjetividad como de lo mercantil de la materia. El argumento central del texto se centra en que estamos sujetos al uso de aplicaciones relacionales y que estas tecnologías pueden moldear nuestra vida cotidiana, nuestras subjetividades, nuestras voluntades y deseos como seres conscientes, en la dirección de intercambiar afecto material por ser en línea. PALABRAS CLAVE: Subjetividad; Afectividad; Hiperconectividad; Aplicaciones de Relación.Esta reflexão tem como objetivo discutir utilizando uma base conceitual e por meio do filme Her, as formas como a vida contemporânea tem se comportado diante das tecnologias facilitadoras de relacionamentos afetivos. Usaremos perspectivas teóricas críticas do uso das tecnologias digitais para suprir e validar a compreensão das interações afetivas realizadas no ciberespaço. Os conceitos de sociação, filosofia da tecnologia, metrópole, amor líquido, entre outros, nos ajudam a pensar as relações afetivas contemporâneas tanto na perspectiva da subjetividade quanto mercantil da matéria.
