PILATES METHOD IN BRAZIL BY NARRATIVE OF ANY OF YOUR INSTRUCTORS PIONEERING

Resumo: The purpose of this article is to rebuild the history of Pilates Method in Brazil, focus on the relationship between the training of the pioneers instructors and the necessary investments for introduce this practice in the country. Therefore, the research is based on the cultural history and oral history with six interviews. By the analysis of the interviews and the dialogue with other sources, such as books and articles, we highlight that Pilates Method was introduce in Brazil by people that completed their training program in the United States in three different styles of intervention. The Pilates Method consolidates when Studios with specific equipments were opened and training program was offered in the country and when the Method was disclosed by local media and advertising.

Por lo tanto, la investigación se basa en la historia cultural y la historia oral con la realización de seis entrevistas. A partir del análisis de las entrevistas y el diálogo con otras fuentes, como libros y artículos, señalamos que su inclusión en Brasil es de gente que hizo su entrenamiento en los Estados Unidos y que incluye tres líneas diferentes de intervención. Consolidación sucede cuando usted da los lugares de implantación con equipos específicos, ampliamente difundido y, sobre todo, la formación de nuevos instructores en el país.O objetivo deste artigo é reconstruir a história da inserção do Método Pilates no Brasil, com foco na relação entre a formação de algumas de suas instrutoras pioneiras e os investimentos necessários para a implantação da prática no país. Para tanto, a pesquisa fundamenta-se na História Cultural e na História Oral com a realização de seis entrevistas. Da análise das entrevistas e no diálogo com outras fontes tais como livros e artigos, destacamos que sua inserção no Brasil se dá por intermédio de pessoas que fizeram sua formação nos Estados Unidos e que envolvem três diferentes linhas de intervenção.
