Resumo: This work had the apropos of analyze the existing relationships between the non-formal education and the social movements with local base in a special study case, been had like a study object the Cursinho Comunitário Pimentas, located on Pimentas district, Guarulhos city, SP, Brazil. Another objective been tackled the topic across of geographical context. The Non-formal education represents all the education actions realized out of the school system, which also can call of No-school education, in short, all the Non-institutionalized and territorialized forms for geographic space.

The Non-formal education represents all the education actions realized out of the school system, which also can call of No-school education, in short, all the Non-institutionalized and territorialized forms for geographic space.En este trabajo se pretende analizar las relaciones entre la educación no formal y los movimientos sociales de base local, en particular, un estudio de caso, teniendo como sujeto y objeto el Cursinho Comunitário Pimentas, situado en el Barrio de Pimentas en la ciudad de Guarulhos, Estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Otro objetivo es abordar la cuestión a través del contexto geográfico. La educación no formal representa a todas las actividades educativas fuera del sistema escolar, que también se puede denominar la educación no escolar, en definitiva, todos las formas no-institucionalizada y territorializada por el espacio geográfico.O presente trabalho teve por finalidade analisar as relações existentes entre a educação não formal e os movimentos sociais com base local, em especial um estudo de caso, tendo como sujeito/objeto o Cursinho Comunitário Pimentas, localizado no bairro dos Pimentas na cidade de Guarulhos, Estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Outro objetivo foi abordar o tema por meio da contextualização geográfica.
