Resumo: It was determined the serum levels of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium and potassium of  88 bovines of both sexes and various ages, selected from 22 ranches in the counties of Itapaci, Jaraguá, Nerópolis, Bela Vista de Goiás, Niquelândia, Rio Verde and São Luís dos Montes Belos, Goiás. In the present study the serum levels of sodium, potassium and magnesium were within what is considered the normal limits. The serum levels of calcium, and phosphorus fluctuated.

Foram determinados os níveis séricos de cálcio, fósforo, magnésio, sódio e potássio de 88 bovinos de ambos os sexos e diferentes idades, procedentes de 22 fazendas selecionadas nos municípios goianos de Itapaci, Jaraguá, Nerópolis, Bela Vista de Goiás, Niquelândia, Rio Verde e São Luís dos Montes Belos. No presente trabalho, os níveis de sódio, potássio e magnésio estava dentro dos limites considerados normais.
