Resumo: The organization of the personal space reveals important pieces of information about the priorities set by each individual for his/her identity narration. It is the  dynamics  of  proximity  and  distance  that  shapes  social  interactions.  In the novel Solange es schön ist, by Magdalena Sadlon, the concrete space is a building, in which neighbours living close to each other negotiate meanings, in order to create their own subjective space. This negotiation includes the need for attention, taking responsibility and the principle of hostility, motivated by fear of indifference, by the necessity of affective and personal liberty and the inability to understand each other.

La organización del espacio personal muestra importantes informaciones acerca de las prioridades que cada individuo presenta para su narración de identidad. En  esto,  la  dinámica  de  proximidad  y  distancia  configura  las  interacciones sociales. En la novela Solange es schön ist, de Magdalena Sadlon, el espacio concreto  es  un  edificio  en  que  vecinos  espacialmente  próximos  negocian sentidos para la formación de un espacio subjetivo. Esa negociación incluye la demanda por atención, la asunción de responsabilidad y el principio de la hostilidad, motivada por el miedo a la indiferencia, por la necesidad de libertad afectiva y personal o por la inhabilidad de comprensión del otro.A  organização  do  espaço  pessoal  revela  importantes  informações  sobre  as prioridades  que  cada  indivíduo  apresenta  para  sua  narração  de  identidade. Nisso, a dinâmica de proximidade e distância configura as interações sociais. No romance Solange es schön ist, de Magdalena Sadlon o espaço concreto se dá num prédio, em que vizinhos espacialmente próximos negociam sentidos para a formação de um espaço subjetivo. Essa negociação inclui a demanda por atenção, a assunção de responsabilidade e o princípio da hostilidade, motivada pelo medo à indiferença, pela necessidade de liberdade afetiva e pessoal ou mesmo pela inabilidade de compreensão do outro.
