Resumo: | This paper discusses the Portuguese spoken in East Timor, presenting a strikingfeature of this variety is that the use of certain adverbs as aspectual markersand modal verb, especially since the job as a marker of perfective aspect, yetprogressive aspect marker / durational, not as a negative modalizer. It is arguedhere that the main influence on the existence of these markers is the mothertongue (L1) of the speaker, since most of the native languages ??of East Timor’sAustronesian origin, with the presence of a large number of pre-verbal markersand post-verbal to express different grammatical categories in the verb. |
