Resumo: The Southern Common Market (Mercosur) is a South American economic bloc that aims at a regional integration process among the States Parties that integrate them. Among the benefits available to citizens belonging to the bloc is free movement, which guarantees the right to obtain legal residence in the territory of another State Party. It so happens that such benefit, when carried out in a disorderly manner, has significantly contributed to the spread of child labor, despite Mercosur being a signatory of several documents aimed at its eradication and protection of human rights related to childhood, both internationally, how much regional. Therefore, this article aims, through the analysis of documents and legal frameworks, to trace the relationship between the flow of migration between the States Parties of Mercosur and child labor, identifying the challenges and perspectives for the eradication of this violation.
