Resumo: This work aims to analyze the characterization of the characters Helen and Clytemnestra in the tragedies The Trojans and Electra, by Euripides, investigating possible approximations between the characters and the plays, from scenes of agón (debate). Furthermore, it is verified how the behavior of these figures is related to the representations of the female in Athens and in Euripidean works. For this, comparative literature is used, considering the intertextualities with other ancient texts and the historical and cultural contexts of the works.
