This article aims to reflect on the aspects of Information and Communication Technology and Assistive Technology in the process of educational inclusion of People with Disabilities. Its context is constituted by the aspects extracted during the developments of the doctoral thesis in the Postgraduate Program in Education of the Federal University of Sergipe defended in July 2021. The proposal of the use of technologies is in the capacity to enhance learning and inclusion in the school environment. Thus, the teacher who will work with the technologies in the school, must know them and know how to use them. Therefore, the importance of the resources used, here the TA stands out, which should be seen as an ally in the realization and promotion of the interaction of the student with disability and his development. It is necessary to elucidate the aspects, in order to understand the person with disability as a human being who has a long-term impairment of a physical, mental, intellectual or sensory nature, which, in interaction with one or more barriers, may obstruct their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with other people, considering the fundamental aspects. It is for these and other reasons that the evolution of technology reveals, at every moment of its history, a profound interaction between the incentives and opportunities that favor technological innovations and the sociocultural conditions
