Resumo: In this paper, we discuss the implications of affectivity in the relationship of teaching and learning in distance education based on the studies of Piaget,Vygotsky, and Wallon. These implications are investigated and dif ferences are shown through the collection and analysis of testimonials from course participants and tutors who participated in the production of a video and the dialogues that took place in a chat seeking to identify how they perceive affectivity in different times of course, affective interactions exist between student / tutor, student / student in this course and how these relationships influence the learning. Relating the perceptions of these teacher students as part of the proposed discipline Growth and development of Children, held a training course for teachers in the distance, we seek to raise the need to review the essentially cognitive practice and discussion of the importance of affectivity in process of teaching and learning. With this we aim to contribute to training teachers in a comprehensive approach, aimed ways to break the dichotomous relationship between affect and cognition.

Essas implicações são investigadas e demostradas por meio da coleta e análise de depoimentos dos cursistas e tutores que participaram da elaboração de um vídeo e os diálogos acontecidos em um chat buscando identificar como eles percebem a afetividade nos diversos momentos do curso, as interações afetivas existentes entre aluno/tutor, aluno/aluno no curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal de Lavras na modalidade a distância e de que maneira essas relações interferem na aprendizagem. Relacionando as percepções desses cursistas como parte da proposta da disciplina Crescimento e desenvolvimento da Criança, ocorrida no curso de formação de professores na modalidade a distância, buscam-se suscitar a necessidade de rever as práticas essencialmente cognitivistas e a reflexão sobre a importância do papel do tutor na mediação pedagógica.
