Resumo: This essay presents a series of photographs by Cristiane Lindner taken between 2017 and 2018. In this series, the images deal with the limitations and potential of contemporary cell phone cameras. Produced digitally, the images seem to create an anachronistic effect, in which both fracture of the object’s representation and the deconstruction of identity, carried out with modernity, find a new situation. An archive of similar propositions reinforces the critical power ciphered in the series.

En esta serie inédita, las imágenes abordan las limitaciones y el potencial de las cámaras contemporáneas de teléfonos celulares. Producidas digitalmente, las imágenes parecen crear un efecto anacrónico, que difiere la fractura de la representación del objeto y la deconstrucción de la identidad llevadas a cabo con la modernidad. Un archivo de proposiciones análogas refuerza el poder crítico cifrado en la serie.Este ensaio apresenta uma série de fotografias de Cristiane Lindner, feita entre 2017 e 2018. Nessa série inédita, as imagens lidam com as limitações e as potencialidades das câmeras de celulares contemporâneas. Produzidas digitalmente, as imagens parecem criar um efeito anacrônico, diferindo a fratura da representação do objeto e a desconstrução da identidade levadas a cabo com a modernidade.
