THE COMODIFICATION OF SUPPORT PROCESS IN BELO HORIZONTE: REFLEXIONS STARTED FAN MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

Resumo: | The purpose of this article is to analyze the commodification process of support from a fan membership program and how this affected the relationship that fans establish with the said program and with the club. As a methodology, questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with the fans were used, as well as the research of laws and documents related to the research theme. The results showed a profile of supporters those with potential consumption of services. In addition, understanding the relationship of the club with its fans is guided by a business logic. The model of connection with the fan had as reference the process of commercialization of twisting established in other countries and that is being developed here in Brazil with the collaboration of the club, the fans and other agents of the sports field. |

La metodología utilizó cuestionarios y entrevistas semiestructuradas con los aficionados, además de la investigación de leyes y documentos afines al tema de la investigación. Los resultados mostraron un perfil del potencial de consumo de servicios. Además, la comprensión de la relación del club con su afición está orientada bajo una lógica empresarial. El modelo de conexión con el aficionado tuvo como referencia el proceso de mercantilización del torcer establecido en otros países y que está desarrollando en Brasil con la colaboración del club, de la afición y de otros agentes del campo deportivo.Objetivamos discutir o processo de mercantilização do torcer a partir de um programa de sócio torcedor e as consequências do mesmo na relação do torcedor com o referido programa e com o clube. Foram utilizados questionários e entrevistas semiestruturadas com os torcedores (as), além das consultas às leis e documentos afins ao tema da pesquisa. Os resultados mostraram um perfil dos torcedores com potencial de consumo de serviços. Além disso, a compreensão da relação do clube com a sua torcida está orientada sob uma lógica empresarial.
