Resumo: This work brings to light reflections on the reality lived by street musicians in Barcelona. Imbricated between the glamor of the arts on the streets boosted by the spectacularization of the contemporary tourist cities and the precariousness of the work to which these subjects are submitted, the research had a qualitative approach developed by an ethnography with immersion in the field of 12 months.  This research aimed to understand the relationships and tensions developed in the occupation of public spaces in the relations with the world of work and leisure to reveal the meanings that social practice has to subject practitioners as well as the paths for her to stay alive restructuring itself through the ages.

De solapamiento entre el glamour de las artes en las calles sostenido por el espectáculo de las ciudades turísticas contemporáneas y la precariedad laboral a la que están sometidos los sujetos. La investigación se realizó con un enfoque cualitativo desarrollado por una etnografía con inmersión en el campo de 12 meses. El objetivo de la investigación es la comprensión de las relaciones y de las tensiones desarroladas en la ocupación de los espacios públicos y en las relaciones con el mundo del trabajo y del ocio, buscando revelar los significados que tiene la práctica social para los profesionales, así como las formas percorridas por ella para mantenerse viva y reestructurandose a través de los siglos.Esse trabalho traz à tona reflexões sobre a realidade vivida pelos músicos de rua em Barcelona. Imbricados entre o glamour das artes nas ruas ostentada pela espetacularização das cidades turísticas contemporâneas e a precarização do trabalho ao qual esses sujeitos estão submetidos, a investigação teve uma abordagem qualitativa desenvolvida por uma etnografia com imersão no campo de 12 meses.
