Resumo: | This article aims to discuss and analyze how women are represented in the Brazilian fiction feature “Para minha amada morta”, and to identify possibilities of empowerment for the female characters. This film was launched in 2016. The methodology of this qualitative research included bibliographical research, interviews and analysis of the graphic layout of the fundamental elements of visual communication and design in some scenes of the film. The female characters are portrayed in an antagonistic way, reinforcing a traditional model of conduct established by patriarchy. Although the cinematographic narrative is constituted by several aspects that could favor the emancipation of the women, these possibilities are stopped to the detriment of an exclusively masculine perspective. |

La metodología de esta investigación cualitativa contó con investigación bibliográfica, entrevistas y análisis de la disposición gráfica de los elementos fundamentales de la comunicación visual y del diseño en algunas escenas de la película. Los personajes femeninos son retratados de forma antagónica, reforzando un modelo tradicional de conducta establecido por el patriarcado. Aunque la narrativa cinematográfica esté constituida por varios aspectos que podrían proporcionar espacios de emancipación para las mujeres, esas posibilidades son empequeñecidas en detrimento de una perspectiva exclusivamente masculina.Este artigo objetiva discutir e analisar de que maneira as mulheres são representadas no longa-metragem de ficção brasileiro Para minha amada morta, lançado em 2016, visando identificar possibilidades de empoderamento para as personagens femininas. A metodologia desta pesquisa qualitativa contou com pesquisa bibliográfica, entrevistas e análise da disposição gráfica dos elementos fundamentais da comunicação visual e do design em algumas cenas do filme. As personagens femininas são retratadas de forma antagônica, reforçando um modelo tradicional de conduta estabelecido pelo patriarcado.
