IS IT THE SAME GIRL? HOMONORMATIVITY IN LESBIAN FUTCH VIDEOS ON TIKTOK

Resumo: The TikTok' videos circulation  expansion about young, white, thin, non-disabled, make-uped lesbians, who mix the categories femme and butch (futch) without ever opposing more strongly to gender norms gave rise to this article, which  operats from the guidelines enrolled in the algorithmic logic, used to reaffirm the heteronorm; homonormativity and inclusion by consumption, which compose it. We argue that the combination of TikTok's algorithmic mediation established with a homonormative pattern of lesbianity results in a standardization of the seened bodies. Such an arrangement acts on the partition of the sensible, contributing to a lesser diversity of bodies being perceived as possibilities among lesbian women.

Argumentamos que la combinación de la mediación algorítmica establecida por TikTok con un patrón homonormativo de lesbianidad resulta una estandarización de los cuerpos que se ven. Tal arreglo actúa sobre el intercambio de lo sensible, contribuyendo a que una menor diversidad de cuerpos sean percibidos como posibilidades entre las mujeres lesbianas.A ampliação da circulação de vídeos no TikTok de lésbicas jovens, brancas, magras, sem deficiência, maquiadas, que mesclam as categorias femme e butch (futch) sem nunca se contrapor mais fortemente às normas de gênero deu origem a este artigo, que tem como operadores as diretrizes inscritas na lógica algorítmica, usada para reafirmar a heteronorma; a homonormatividade e a inclusão pelo consumo, que a compõe. Defendemos que a junção da mediação algorítmica estabelecida pelo TikTok a um padrão homonormativo de lesbianidade resulta em uma padronização dos corpos que se dão a ver.
