The Quality of Work Life (QWL) is indispensable in orgnizations, as promotes peoples’s well-being, satisfaction and. The aims is to investigate how the QWL is configured in a food industry, based on Walton’ model (1975). It’s a exploratory and descriptive research, applied to a quantitative approach. The questionnaires were used and answered by 130 employees. The results indicate that the majority of employees are satisfied with the QWL actions implemented, although some aspect referring to the dimensions that deal with fair and adequate compesation and the work and total life space need to be improved. With these results, it turns out that the company can efficienty adjust the flawed points and, thus, be seen by its employees as an organization that meets all QWL requirements. This study brings social, organizational and academic contributions as allows a more detailed unterstanding of the industrial reality and knowledge for the evolution of QWL.
