This article aims to understand the workers’ perception of who participate in the recreational association from a company in Minas Gerais, related to the benefits and limitations of the leisure programs offered in this context. The methodology included a case study with active "Potência" company’s employees who participate in the "Recreio" association. The research was descriptive, following a quantitative approach. The Survey method was used in the investigation. An online questionnaire was applied to members who met the research criteria. It was answered by 110 workers, typifying a simple random sample. The results indicate for those surveyed, that the leisure programs offered by Recreio bring positive benefits to them, especially in terms of satisfaction and improved quality of life, and also for the company, regarding its image and increased productivity. The conclusion indicates the workers surveyed consider the company's leisure activities as part of their personal/social development.
